New Officer Certification Courses

Individuals looking to start a career or second job in the security industry must be licensed. Guardian offers the courses for both armed and unarmed security officer training certifications required by the state to obtain your license and get to work.

Three courses are offered: Level II (unarmed), Level III (armed), and Requalification. Level II is required as the introductory certification before additional licenses can be obtained.

Pursuant to Texas Administrative Code Rule ยง35.21 please be advised that you must have completed your Level II Training which includes a background check performed by DPS and receive an active status prior to registering for this course.
